Data Processing, Cloud Services and Artificial Intelligence

Our services

We provide data analytics, engineering, reporting, integration, automation, and related data solutions. In delivering these services, we may access, process, transform, store, or transfer information supplied or made available by our customers.

Depending on the assignment, this information may include confidential business information, personal data, sensitive user data, source code, database structures, credentials, logs, and other technical materials.

Customer authorization and responsibilities

By engaging us, approving a proposal or statement of work, or paying an invoice that refers to these terms, the customer authorizes us to process its data to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the agreed services.

The customer remains responsible for:

  • Ensuring that it has the necessary rights, permissions, and lawful basis to provide the data to us.
  • Informing us of applicable confidentiality, security, retention, residency, or regulatory requirements.
  • Identifying sensitive or specially protected data before granting us access.
  • Providing accurate instructions concerning how its data may be processed.

Where required, the parties will enter into an appropriate data-processing agreement or other additional contractual documentation.

Cloud platforms and external service providers

Our services may be performed using cloud infrastructure, analytics platforms, development tools, hosting providers, and other third-party services. Customer data may therefore be processed or stored within systems operated by approved external providers.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect customer data and limit access to authorized persons and services. However, no cloud platform, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be entirely secure or continuously available.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we are not responsible for interruptions, security incidents, data loss, unauthorized actions, or other failures caused independently by a customer-selected platform or external provider and outside our reasonable control. This does not limit liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Confidentiality and sensitive data

We treat customer data and technical materials as confidential and use them only for providing, maintaining, securing, and improving the agreed customer solution.

We will not intentionally disclose confidential, personal, production, or sensitive user data to an unauthorized third party. Access to such information is limited to what is reasonably necessary for the assignment.

Sensitive data should only be supplied when necessary and after the parties have agreed on the appropriate access, security, and processing arrangements.

Use of artificial intelligence

We use artificial intelligence (“AI”) tools to support development, testing, analysis, troubleshooting, documentation, and the delivery of our services. By engaging us or paying an invoice that refers to these terms, the customer acknowledges and accepts that AI tools may be used in providing those services.

We will not knowingly submit a customer’s confidential business data, personal data, credentials, production data, or sensitive user data to an AI provider without the customer’s prior explicit authorization.

Where reasonably necessary for development, we may use limited technical information—such as source-code fragments, schemas, data structures, field names, configuration details, logs, or error messages—while taking reasonable steps to minimize, anonymize, or remove confidential and identifying information.

AI tools may be operated by independent third-party providers. Although we select and use these services with reasonable care, we cannot guarantee their availability, accuracy, security, or conduct. AI-generated results may contain errors and should not be treated as professional, legal, medical, financial, or other specialist advice without appropriate human review.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for decisions, disclosures, security incidents, or other actions independently taken by an AI provider—or by a person using AI—without our knowledge, authorization, or reasonable ability to prevent them.

Security incidents

If we become aware of a confirmed security incident affecting customer data under our control, we will notify the customer within a reasonable period and provide available information needed to assess and address the incident, subject to applicable law and any agreed data-processing terms.

Nothing in this notice excludes or limits responsibilities or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable data-protection and confidentiality obligations.

If this notice conflicts with a signed agreement, statement of work, data-processing agreement, or other specific written arrangement between us and the customer, that specific agreement will take precedence.
